20 minutes | MAIN PART Teacher offers learners to work with worksheet 1. Divide learners into pairs (more able learner with a learner who needs help) Ask learners to look at the picture and describe the weather to each other.
Phtraining:Students sing a song and dancea little “The sun comes up!” Task 1 Listen to the teacher. Find the correct picture and put a tick in the box. Autumn It is autumn now. The trees are yellow, green and brown. Sometimes it is very windy. There are some clouds in the sky. There are many apples in autumn. Listening and singing along to a weather song: How’s the weather? Learners watch the video and sing a song together. Teacher pauses if necessary and asks Do you like rainy/ cloudy/hot/snowy/ etc weather? (Repetition of weather vocabulary and construction Do you…?) Distribute the A4 paper among learners and ask them to draw a big basket. Explain that they should write all the words which they remembered during the lesson. Ask learners to count how many words they learnt. |
